- GLEN MILLS, Pa. — Linda (Folk) Sherman, 68, of Glen Mills, passed away on May 17, 2009, at home in the presence of her family after a two-year battle with cancer. Born in 1941 in Frostburg, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Catherine (Clark) Folk. She was a graduate of Beall High School. Surviving are her husband, Jack Sherman; a son, Jeff Nolan; a daughter, Jennifer O’Donnell; a brother, Ralph “Buddy” Folk; a stepson and stepdaughter; several grandchildren, step and great-grandchildren; and many relatives in the Frostburg area. A memorial service was held on May 21 at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church in Wilmington, Del. Interment was private.
