- FROSTBURG — Mary Catherine Crowe, 74, formerly of 135 S. Water St., Frostburg, died Wednesday, March 13, 1996, at the Frostburg Village Nursing Home, where she had been a resident for six years. Born Feb. 17, 1922, in Frostburg, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Edith (Crump) Crowe. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Kenneth Crowe and Ralph Crowe. Mrs. Crowe was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Frostburg. Surviving are one brother, Milton N. Crowe and wife Alice, Eckhart; one sister, Edith Rosso and husband Victor, Bridgeton, N.J.; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Sowers Funeral Home, Frostburg. Services will be at the funeral home on Friday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Steven H. Shussett officiating. Interment will be in the Frostburg Memorial Park.
