- KENOSHA, Wis. — Carl Thomas, 84, of Kenosha, passed away on Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at Aurora Medical Center. Carl was born on June 13, 1929 in Frostburg, the son of the late Samuel and Fern (Wilson) Thomas. He was educated in the schools of Frostburg. He was a member of the U.S. Marines. He married Sharon Dewitt on April 13, 1957 in Indiana. He was employed as a security Guard at AMC/ Chrysler for many years. His hobbies included going to casinos, eating out with friends, swimming, watching wrestling, and spending time with family and friends. Carl enjoyed his many friends at Cracker Barrel and Home Run restaurants. Survivors include his children, Carla Camara of South Carolina, Kim (Jay) Imroth of Kenosha; grandchildren, Jami and Tami; great-grandchildren, Jalen and Julian; two brothers, Samuel (Emma Jean) Thomas of Michigan and George (Pat) Thomas of Frostburg; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon. A memorial gathering was held at Kenosha Funeral Services. Private burial will be held in Sunset Ridge Memorial Park. Cumberland Times-News, July 2, 2013
