- FROSTBURG - Victor DeVore, 84, of 125 Walnut Street, Grahamtown, died Tuesday at the Cumberland Nursing Center following a long illness. Born in Frostburg on July 3, 1902, he was the son of the late Johnson and Arella (Crowe) DeVore. Mr. DeVore was retired from the Kelly Springfield Tire Company as a curing room operator with 44 years of service. He was a member of Frostburg United Methodist Church and United Rubber Workers Local 26. Surviving are his widow, Olive M. (Plummer) DeVore; three sons, Harry L. DeVore, Cumberland; William V. DeVore and Roy M. DeVore, both of Frostburg; one brother, Leonard DeVore, Detroit, Mich.; two sisters, Mrs. Emery Plummer and Mrs. Ernest Plummer, both of Frostburg; 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Hafer Frost Mansion Funeral Home Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be conducted there Thursday at 11 a.m. by the Rev. Kenneth M. Humbert and the Rev. John Bayley Jones. Interment will be in Frostburg Memorial Park. Pallbearers, all grandsons, will be Roy V. DeVore, William J. DeVore, David A. DeVore, Robert S.
