  Notes	FROSTBURG — Mrs. Eva P. Griffiths, 56, wife of Thomas Griffiths, 44 Mechanic Street, died last evening in Memorial Hospital, Cumberland, where she was admitted six weeks ago. A daughter of the late John and Ida (Ravenscroft) Crowe, Mrs. Griffiths was a member of Johnson Methodist Church. Surviving, besides her husband, are two sons, Carl Griffiths, at home, and John Griffiths, Cumberland; three daughters, Mrs. Virginia Knotts, Finzel; Mrs. Leona Durr and Mrs. Gladys Stanton, Frostburg; three sisters, Mrs. Hazel Brode, Midlothian; Mrs. Lela Colemnn, Frostburg, and Mrs. Lulu Wampler, Long Stretch, Garrett County; a brother, Gilbert Crowe, Eglon, W. Va., and eight grandchildren. The body is at the residence. Services will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p. m. in Mt. Zion Methodisl Church, Route 40, by Rev. John Bayley Jones, pastor of First Methodist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The Cumberland Evening Times, September 27, 1954
