  Notes	PASADENA — Mary "Jane" (Hansel) Candela, 80, of Pasadena, passed away peacefully on Friday, Jan. 9, 2015, at Kline Hospice House, Mount Airy. She was the wife of the late George A. Candela. Born March 4, 1934, in Eckhart Mines, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Eva Mae (Watson) Hansel. She graduated from Beall High School, Frostburg. She retired from National Institute of Standards and Technology in Gaithersburg, as a secretary. She will be truly missed by her surviving family; children: Brenda Bell Williams of Eldersburg, Brad Bell and wife, Leslie, of Walkersville, David Candela and wife, Sylvia, of Elmhurst, Ill., Donald Candela and wife, Nancy, of Gramby, Mass., Gerald Candela of Catonsville; three grandchildren, Justin Williams, Megan Bell and Nathan Bell; four brothers, Raymond Hansel and wife, Gerry, John Hansel, Ronald Hansel and wife, Peach, Jim Hansel and wife, Naomi and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She is preceded in death by siblings, Robert Hansel, William Hansel and Thelma Hansel Shewbridge. Jane had a love of the beach, boating, and gardening. She also was an avid walker and enjoyed chatting with her neighbors. She always had a smile, kind word and quick wit for everyone she met. She was an extraordinary mother (in law) and grandmother. A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, Jan. 31, 2015, at 1 p.m. at Calvary United Methodist Church, 403 S. Main St., Mount Airy, Md.
