- Mrs. Doris Mae Abe, 33, wife of Hubert Abe, 215 Bedford Street, died Friday night in Potomac Valley Hospital, Keyser, where she had been a patient several days. Born at Barton, she was a daughter of Mrs. Elsie (Crowe) Mowbray, Barton, and the late Thomas G. Mowbray. A registered nurse, Mrs. Abe was a graduate of Memorial Hospital School of Nursing and held membership in the Maryland Nurses Association. She also was a member of Barton Methodist Church. Surviving, besides her husband and mother, are three sisters, Mrs. Helen Grayson, Keyser; Mrs. Ruth Keesling, Dennison, Iowa, and Mrs. June Ruffo, Lanham, Md. The body will be at the Boal Memorial Chapel, Barton. Services will be conducted today at 3 p. m. at Barton Methodist Church by Rev. Alonzo Harman and Rev. George Roberts. Interment will be in Moscow Mills Cemetery. The body will be taken to the church at noon today. The Cumberland News, April 20, 1964
