  Notes	Township, Somerset County, February 26,1906, a daughter of the late Wesley and Katie (Bowman) Hosselrode. She was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil D. Lowery who died January 9, 1968. Surviving are a son, Clyde Lowery, of Westland, Mich.; and two daughters, Mrs. Sandra Mallery, of R.D. 1, Hyndman; and Mrs. Kathleen Emerick Hart, of Hagerstown, Md. Eight grandchildren and one great-grandson also survive along with three brothers, Robert Hosselrode, of Baltimore; Marling and Theodore Hosselrode, both of Hyndman RD; and two sisters, Miss Betty Hosselrode and Mrs. Myrtle Sherman, both of Hyndman RD. Mrs. Lowery was a homemaker and member of the Cooks Mills United Methodist Church. Funeral services: Thursday, July 12, at 2 p.m. in the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home in Hyndman, with Rev. Loyal W. Kelso officiating. Burial in Porter Cemetery. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The Bedford Gazette, July 11, 1984
