  Notes	MOUNT SAVAGE — Helen Mae Rankin, 97, of Mount Savage, died Wednesday, June 17, 2009, at the Allegany County Nursing and Rehab Center. Born Nov. 30, 1911, in Mount Savage, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Amanda (Collins) Rizer. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Arch D. Rankin, and eight brothers and sisters. Mrs. Rankin belonged to Mount Savage United Methodist Church. Survivors include her two daughters, Elena Rankin, of Mount Savage, and Donna Garlitz and husband Jim, of Corriganville; and two grandchildren, James Garlitz II, of Corriganville, and Dawn Long and husband of Sam, Pittsburgh, Pa. Friends will be received at the Upchurch Funeral Home, P.A., 202 Greene St., Cumberland, on Friday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. The funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. in the funeral home, with the Rev.
