- DIES IN HOSPITAL - Staff Sgt. Orville E. Himmelwright, 23, son of Mr. and Mrs. Francis Himmelwright, Sr. of 317 Avirett Ave., died Wednesday morning in Walter Reed hospital in Washington, D.C. after a lingering illness. A radio operator-mechanic on a C-47 transport plane, he was returned to this country in January after he became ill in England in November 1943. The military funeral for the local flier will be in charge of Fort Cumberland Post 13, American Legion. Services will be conducted tomorrow at the home by Rev.Walter M. Michael, pastor of the Centre Street Methodist church. Interment will be in Eckhart cemetery. The color guard, pallbearers and bugler will be members of the Legion.
