- Memorial Hospital. Born Oct. 23, 1918 in Mount Savage, he was the son of the late Robert Aldridge and Ida Pearl (Logue) Aldridge Mock. He was preceded in death by his wife Marcella F. (Logsdon) Aldridge on July 24, 1971. Mr. Aldridge was a retired employee of the Kelly-Springfield Tire Company and an Army veteran of World War II where he served in the European Theatre. He was a member of Local 26 United Rubber Workers of America and was of the Methodist faith. Survivors include two sons, Charles “Randy” Aldridge, Corriganville; John Aldridge; two daughters, Marsha Phillips, Pittsburgh, Pa.; Pamela Aldridge; a niece with whom he resided, Judy A. (Hogamier) Parks and her husband, Gerald; one brother, Clyde “Dick” Aldridge, Springfield, W.Va.; two sisters, Willa S. Brown, Cumberland; Evelyn Shroyer, Baltimore; seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Durst Funeral Home. Services will be conducted there Monday at 11 a.m. by the Rev. Leroy Logsdon. Interment will be at Rocky Gap Veterans Cemetery.
