Notes	Marilyn Juanita Evans, 79, of Midlothian, passed away peacefully on Friday, Sept. 16, 2016, at her residence. She was born Feb. 19, 1937, in Slabtown, to William and Ella (Smith) Winebrenner. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, John Samuel Evans Sr.; siblings, Alan Winebrenner, Thelma Hughes, Hazel Shroyer and Graham Winebrenner. Marilyn enjoyed gardening, embroidery, cross stitching, reading and collecting hummingbirds. Surviving are four sons, John S. Evans Jr., Hagerstown, James Evans and wife, Kimberly, Alexandria, Va., Joel Evans and wife, Patricia, Sykesville, and Jerry Evans and wife Dana, Frostburg; four grandchildren, Jason Evans and wife, Heather, Amy Evans, Sarah Evans and Sacarra Shrader; two great-grandchildren, Hailey Evans and Jamie Evans; a brother, Albert Winebrenner; and numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received at Durst Funeral Home, 57 Frost Ave., Frostburg, on Monday, Sept. 19, 2016. Funeral services will be held at Durst Funeral Home on Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2016, at 11 am. Interment will be in the Maryland State Veterans Cemetery at Rocky Gap.
