He was born on July 8, 1899, at RD 1, Hyndman, a son of the late Oscar and Sarah Kennell Mason. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Hyndman Grange 1954 and the Palo Alto United Methodist Church. Survivors include his widow, Freda Hosselrode Mason; one daughter, Mrs. Grace Emerick, Hyndman; one brother, Clark J. Mason; one sister, Mrs. Minnie Campbell, both of Youngstown, Ohio; and eight grandchildren. Zeigler Funeral Home. Funeral on Sunday; interment at Cook's Mills Cemetery. The Cumberland Evening Times, September 15, 1972 He was buried on 17 Sep 1972 in Cooks Mill Chapel Cemetery, Hyndman, Bedford Co., Pennsylvania.
