He died on 10 Jan 1999 at the age of 76 in Lonaconing, Allegany Co., Maryland. LONACONING - Charles Henry Hacker Jr., 76, of 11 Watercliffe St., Lonaconing, died Sunday, Jan. 10, 1999, at home. Born June 15, 1922, in Lonaconing, he was a son of the late Charles Henry Hacker Sr., and Clara (Beeman) Hacker. Also preceding him in death was his wife, Betty L. Hacker, on Sept. 27, 1994. Mr. Hacker was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, and retired from Celanese Fibers Corporation as a Machinist with 24 years' service. He was Protestant by faith and a member of Alvin C. Neat Post #5280 V.F.W., Lonaconing, the Rod & Gun Club of Laurel Run, the Ship Program of Georges Creek, and the American Legion Post #189, Barton. Surviving are a son, Charles William Hacker, Westminster; a daughter, Stella Donaldson, Lonaconing; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren; a sister, Beulah Jacobs, Lonaconing; and a brother, James Hacker, Florida. Also surviving are 10 nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Eichhorn-McKenzie Funeral Home, P.A., Lonaconing, on Tuesday, Jan. 12, 1999, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home on Wednesday, Jan. 13, 1999, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Donald Webb officiating. Interment will be in Rocky Gap Veterans Cemetery, Cumberland. Military rites will be accorded by the Combined Veterans Honor Guard at Rocky Gap Cemetery. The Alvin C.
