LONACONING — Martha Ellen Clark, 78, a patient of the Egle Nursing Home for 2 1/2 years, formerly of 13 Watercliff Street, Lonaconing, died Sunday, March 19, 1995, at the Sacred Heart Hospital. Born June 19, 1916, at Lonaconing, she was a daughter of the late Charles Hacker and Clara Ellen (Beeman) Hacker. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Milton Alvin Clark. Mrs. Clark was a former employee of the Celanese Fibers Corporation. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Lonaconing; the Senior Citizens of Lonaconing; and the Day Care Center, Westernport. Surviving are one son, Ronald Frederick Cecil, Finksburg; one daughter, Shirley Clark, a patient at Egle Nursing Home; two grandchildren; two brothers, Charles Hacker, Lonaconing, and James Hacker, Florida; and one sister, Beulah Jacobs, Lonaconing. Friends will be received at the Eichhorn-McKenzie Funeral Home. Services will be at the funeral home on Tuesday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Bernadette Ross officiating.
