Born in Frostburg, Md., he was the son of the late William H. and Blanche Hawkins Festerman. He was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth L. Festerman. Mr. Festerman was a member of Our Lady of Consolation Church of Parkesburg and the Knights of Columbus 4th Degree. Surviving are his wife, Margaretta "Grace" Drees Festerman; two sons, Dennis G. Festerman, Gap, Steven T. Festerman, Kinzers; two daughters, Kathy Stern, Gap, Julie M. Bickings, Parkesburg; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, William Festerman and Richard Festerman, both of Frostburg. Mass of a Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, April 6, 2000, in Parkesburg, Pa. Interment will follow in the Parkesburg Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements are by the Wilde Funeral Home, Parkesburg. He was buried on 6 Apr 2000 in Parkesburg Catholic Cemetery, Parkesburg, Pennsylvania.
