He is survived by one son, James L. Minick, Frostburg; six daughters; Mrs. Mary Margaret Shockey, Johnstown; Mrs. Lillian Konetzka, Bloomington; Mrs. Cecelia Sandifer, Crofton; Mrs. Virginia Hostetler, Finzel; Mrs. Judy Hummel, Urbana, Ill.; Mrs. Rose Marie Hutzell, Meyersdale; two sisters: Mrs. Dessa Drees, Finzel; Mrs. Mabel Harden, Frostburg; 21 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Friends were received at the Durst Funeral Home. The Republic, November 3, 1983 Arvel or Orville MINNICK and Mary Drucilla RALEY were married on 18 Jun 1925 in St. Michael's Catholic Church, Frostburg, Allegany Co., Maryland.
