Per Father Homer Blubaugh: McKenzie, Francis, born Oct. 1,1922, killed on Angaur Island by a Japanese sniper in 1944 during WW II. Angaur Island is part of the Palau Islands in the Caroline Group of the Western Pacific. His body was returned home for burial at Hermoston, Oregon.
