- CUMBERLAND — Christy Dawn Wolfe, 39, of Cumberland, passed away Friday, Jan. 27, 2017, at the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center. Born in Cumberland, on May 9, 1977, she was the daughter of Ellen (McKenzie) Boyd and Dennis L. Bishop and wife, Bridget. Christy is also the daughter of Steven Boyd and wife, Kathy. Christy was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Wolfe. Christy attended Fort Hill High School. Christy is survived by her children, Danny Marrale and fiancee, Tiraya Jessie, Cumberland, William Wood, Cumberland, Jeffery Wood, Cumberland, Alivyia Wood, Cumberland, Josie Wolfe, Cumberland, and Charlize Wolfe, Cumberland; twin sister, Misty Jenkins, Cumberland; sister, Stephanie Boyd, Cumberland; half-brothers, Jordan Bishop, Charlotte, N.C., and Jason Bishop and wife, Erin, Cumberland. Christy was expecting her first grandchild in March. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Ave., Cumberland, on Sunday, Feb. 5, 2017, from 2 to 3 p.m. A memorial service will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, Feb. 5, 2017, at 3 p.m. with Pastor Doug Seaman officiating.
