  Notes	Mrs. Ettie McKenzie – Mrs. Ettie S. McKenzie, 78, widow of Joseph N. McKenzie, died Saturday at the residence of the Rev. H.D. Parker, Connellsville, Pa., with whom she made her home. A native of this city, she was a daughter of the late Dennis and Thursa (Switzer) Beall. Her husband operated a grocery store on Maryland Avenue here for many years. After his retirement in 1921, Mr. amd Mrs. McKenzie went to Florida. She went to Connellsville to make her home shortly after her husband’s death. She is survived by one son, Robert J. McKenzie, Tampa, Florida; one daughter, Mrs. Lyle G. Shuck, Washington; one step-brother, Thomas Beall, this city; two step-sisters, Mrs. Theodore Haines, Hyndman, Pa., and Mrs. Edward Jenkins, this city, and five grandchildren. The body is at the Stein Funeral Home and services will be held in the chapel there at 2:30 tomorrow afternoon with the Rev. H.A. Kester, pastor of the Kingsley Methodist church officiating. The body will be placed in the mausoleum at Rose Hill Cemetery. Cumberland Evening Times Monday, July 2, 1945
