CAPT. ROBERT MITCHELL
Funeral services for Capt. Robert Mitchell, former teacher in the Turtle Creek schools, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Barton, Md.
Capt. Mitchell, an infantry officer, was killed at Aachen, Germany, in the Battle of the Bulge in November, 1944.
He was a graduate of the Turtle Creek schools and the University of Pittsburgh. He entered military service in 1941.
Capt. Mitchell is survived by his widow and son, Robert Jr., of Barton; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Mitchell of 408 Brown Ave., Turtle Creek, and two sisters, Mrs. Lester Cutler of Edgewood and Mrs. Wayne Goyhe of Buffalo, N.Y.
Burial will be in Maryland.
