- FROSTBURG — Mrs. Arta A. Cook, 84, of Wilmington, Del., and formerly of 148 Wood Street, here, died there Saturday. A native of Garrett County, she was a daughter of the late William A. and Henrietta (Crowe) Murphy. Her husband, Alvin 0. Cook, preceded her in death. Mrs. Cook was a member of Frostburg United Methodist Church, and a 50 year member of Mountain Chapter 15, Order of Eastern Star. Surviving are two daughters, Miss Olive Cook and Mrs. Kathryn Savastano, and a grandson, Thomas Savastano, all of Wilmington; a sister, Mrs. Edna Keene, and a brother, Marion Murphy, both of here. Friends will be received at Durst Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. Services will be conducted in the funeral home at 11 a.m. Thursday by Rev. Clarence A. Kaylor.
