  Notes	FROSTBURG — Bernard Anthony 'Mac' McKenzie, 86, of Beall School Road, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Sept. 7, 2019, at WMHS Regional Medical Center. Born on March 23, 1933, in Garrett County, he was the son of the late Leo L.and Rella V. McKenzie. In addition to his parents, he is preceded by his brothers, Leonard and Donnie McKenzie. Mac was an U.S. Army veteran of World War II, stationed in Germany. Following that, he was employed for 33 years at Kelly Springfield Tire until its closing in 1987. Surviving are his wife of 63 years, Dorothy Mae (Matthews) McKenzie; daughter, Brenda L. Rafferty and fiancé, James 'Marvin' McKenzie, Frostburg; one grandson, Matthew Anthony Rafferty and fiancé, Sarah Bittner, Mount Savage; one granddaughter, Ashley Victoria McKenzie; three great-granddaughters, Chloie, Mattie and McKenzie Rafferty. Friends will be received at Durst Funeral Home, 57 Frost Ave., Frostburg, on Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2019, from 6 to 8 p.m. Services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2019, at 10 a.m. with Deacon Bradley officiating.
