MOUNT SAVAGE - Vicki Bridges DeVore, 46, of Mount Savage, died Sunday, Oct. 21, 2001, at Sacred Heart Hospital. Born Nov. 26, 1954, in Baltimore, she was the daughter of Letha Bridges, a resident of Lions Manor Nursing Home, and the late Eugene Bridges. Vicki was employed at Allegany County Nursing Home in the dietary department. She was a member of Mount Savage United Methodist Church. Surviving are her husband, Samuel H. DeVore; her grandmother, Bessie M. Pugh, a resident of Lions Manor Nursing Home; two sisters, Patti Beal and husband Terry, Mount Savage, Donnagene Witt and husband Roger, Wellersburg; one brother, Eugene Bridges II and wife Lisa, Chesapeake, Va.; numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews who thought there was nobody like Aunt Vic. Friends will be received at the Sowers Funeral Home, P.A., 60 W. Main St., Frostburg, on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be conducted at the funeral home on Wednesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Richard Broome Jr. officiating. Interment will be in Mount Savage Methodist Cemetery.
She was buried on 24 Oct 2001 in Mount Savage, Allegany Co., Maryland.
