Born Dec. 19, 1947, in Beans Cove, he was the son of the late George Thomas Donahoe and Vernelda Grace (Bennett) Donahoe. Mr. Donahoe was employed as a heavy equipment operator through the local 37. He was a member of Seven Dolars Catholic Church and Chaneysville Volunteer Fire Department. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Ann (Barham) Donahoe, Clearville; a son, Eric A. Donahoe and fiancee Susan Humbertson, Beans Cove; two daughters, Renee L. Hardman and husband Randy, Beans Cove, and Tonya Humbertson and husband Danny, Cumberland; seven brothers, Grover T. Donahoe and wife Doris, Rio Rancho, N M., Kenneth Donahoe and wife Ida, Frederick, Md., Elmer Donahoe and wife Karen, New Jersey, Hillary “Smokey" Donahoe and wife Sharon, Centreville, Richard Donahoe, Indiana, Carl Donahoe and wife Rita, Cumberland, and Ronald Donahoe and wife Lawrene, South Carolina; three sisters, Mary Eleanor Ryan, Cumberland, Eileen Hunter and husband James, Bedford, and Barbara Fry and husband, George, Hancock. Md.; and one granddaughter, Makayla Donahoe, Beans Cove. Friends will be received at the Merritt Adams Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home on Friday at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Fred Iser officiating. Interment will be in Seven Dolars Catholic Church Cemetery.
