- James Morris, 76, of 850 Columbia Avenue, died yesterday at Sacred Heart Hospital. A native of Frostburg, he was a son of the late George and Virginia (Adkin) Morris. His wife, Hilda E. (Matt) Morris, preceded him in death. A retired Cumberland Brewery employe, he was a member of the Brewery Workers Local, and of St. Patrick's Catholic Church and FOE Aerie 245. Surviving are three sons, James A. Morris, Pleasant Hill, Pa.; Francis P. Morris, Reisterstown, and Robert J. Morris, city; a daughter Mrs. James Coniff, Frederick, and seven grandchildren. The body is at the Stein Funeral Home, where friends will be received today from 7 until 9 p.m. and tomorrow from 2 until 4 and 7 until 9 p.m. The rosary will be recited there today at '7:30 p.m. Requiem mass will be celebrated Saturday at 9 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church and burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
