He was a retired carpenter and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Pocahontas, and Carpenters Local 1024. Surviving are his widow, Emma (Clark) Arnold; a daughter, Ms. Patricia Ann Urbas of Finzel; four sons: Harold W. and Ronald J. Arnold both of Frostburg, Md.; Blaine J. and Darrell C. Arnold, both of Meyersdale RD 3; a sister, Mrs. Doreathea Hoover, Meyersdale RD 3; brother, Floyd Arnold, Garrett RD 1; 12 grandchlidren and one great-grandchild. Friends will be received at the Durst Funeral Home, Frostburg, Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 pm Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, at 10am at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Interment, Finzel Cemetery. Daily American Oct 6, 1987.
