Robert H. Parker, pastor. Mr. and Mrs. William Swan were the attendants. The bride was graduated from Fort Hill High School. Mr. Clark is employed at the Bethlehem Ship Yards, Baltimore. Cumberland, MD – Virginia Belle (Slonaker) Clark, 84, of Cumberland, MD, died on Tuesday, April 3, 2007, at the WMHS-Memorial Campus. Born August 30, 1922, in Dayton, OH, she was the daughter of the late Charles Slonaker and Ruth Naomi (Conway) Slonaker. Mrs. Clark was also preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Henry Clark. A graduate of Fort Hill High School, Class of 1940, Mrs. Clark was employed by the State of Maryland and a member of the Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church. She is survived by her daughters, Ruth Keifer and her husband, Peter, Cumberland, MD; and Marlene Huffman and her husband, Joe, Kidron, OH; her sisters, Ethel Wilhelm and Bea Mayo; her grandchildren, Jason Huffman and his wife, Kamie; Justin Huffman and his wife, Tonya; Brandon Keifer; Megan Dolly; and Manda Keifer; as well as her great-grandchildren, Alaina and Sam Huffman; Kaylei Keifer; and Jolie Flanagan. A private celebration of Virginia’s life will be held at a later date.
