Michael A. McKenzie Jr., five, of near Middleburg in Carroll County, died Tuesday morn at Mercy Hospital in Baltimore. Born in Carroll County, he was a son of Michael A. and Joynce Longenecker McKenzie Sr. Surviving besides his parents are two sisters, Susan and Elaine, and a brother, Richard, all at home. Also surviving are his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry A. Longneckers of Union Bridge, his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Grant McKenzie of Sykesville, and his great-granmother, Mrs. Lottie Benchoff of Graceville, Fla. Friends may call at the Waltz Funeral Home on Liberty Road in Winfield from 7-9 p.m., Wednesday and Thursday. A rosary will be recited Thursday at 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Requiem Mass will be celebrated at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Libertytown Friday at 10 1.m. with Rev. Francis A. Morrison officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
