- Moses McKenzie was born about 1846 in Maryland. He died on 8 Apr 1894 in Mineral Co., West Virginia. Mr. Moses McKenzie one of the most highly respected farmers on Warrior Mountain died at his late home about five miles from this city Saturday evening after a lingering illness. The immediate cause of death was Bright's disease. The deceased was about 48 years of age. A wife and five children survive him. The funeral took place this afternoon from his late home. The interment was made in the family burying ground on the farm.
