  Notes	CUMBERLAND — Eugene “Gene” Melvin Brehm, 75, of Cumberland, passed away on Friday, Aug. 3, 2012, at his home. Born March 9, 1937, in Cumberland, he was the son of the late Melvin and Josephine (Lisanti) Brehm. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Tracy Lynanne Brehm; brother, Leo Brehm and sister-in-law, Madeline Brehm. Gene worked for the City of Cumberland. Earlier on in his life he worked for the Cumberland Blouse Factory and the State Department of Forestry. He loved to go bowling, and spending time with his family. Surviving are his wife, Judy Brehm, of Cumberland; two daughters, Dawn House and Crystal Brehm, both of Cumberland; one son, Charles Brehm, of Cumberland; two sisters, Connie Ritchie, of Oldtown and Tina Adams, of California; one brother, Sammy Brehm, of Tennessee and two grandchildren, Alexa and Wyatt Brehm. Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home P.A., 108 Virginia Ave., Cumberland, (www.scarpellifh.com) on Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be conducted in the funeral home on Tuesday at 1 p.m. with Father Gregory Chervenak O.F.M. Cap. officiating. Interment will in Saint Mary’s Cemetery, Cumberland.
