- CUMBERLAND - Ferman “Bud” McClellan, 61, Vancouver, Wash., formerly of Cumberland, died Thursday, Aug. 1, 1991, at his residence. Born July 14, 1930, in Cumberland, he was the son of the late Robert McClellan Sr. and Marie (McKenzie) McClellan. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert McClellan Jr. and James McClellan Sr. Mr. McClellan was retired from Union Carbide and was a veteran of the Korean War. Surviving are his wife, Joan (Cooksey) McClellan; two sons, Donald McClellan and Doug McClellan, both of Vancouver; one daughter, Laurel Hall, Vancouver; nine sisters, Velma Bowman and JoAnn Eror, both of Cresaptown; Melba Herath and Mae Boggs, both of Cumberland; Betty Huff, LaVale; Bee Williams, Frostburg; Elwanda Biggs, Louisville. Ky.; Rosalie Fleegle, Gaithersburg; and Ethel Davis, West Palm Beach, Fla.; and two grandchildren, Christine McClellan and Brett McClellan. The body was cremated in Vancouver.
