Mrs. Elsie Lytton, 69, former resident of Cumberland residing in Newport News, Va., died there yesterday in Riverside Hospital after a short illness. A native of Deer Park, Mrs. Lytton was a daughter of the late John C. and Fannie (McKenzie) Savage. She was the widow of Byrd Lytton. Mrs. Lytton was a retired employe of the Celanese Fibers Company here. She was a member of the Salvation Army Citadel here. Surviving is one daughter. Miss Edna M. Lytton, Newport News. The body is at the Peninsula Funeral Home there where friends are being received today. Services will be conducted at the funeral home tomorrow at 2 p. m. by Capt. Harold Brinson, of the Newport News Citadel, assisted by Brigadier Robert Ball, of Lynchburg. Interment will be in Greenmount Cemetery there. The Cumberland Evening Times, May 3, 1966.
