Notes	Mrs. Eva V. Grant, 86, of 13513 Brant Avenue, Cresaptown, died yesterday at Memorial Hospital, where she had been admitted September 15. Born in Little Orleans, Md., she was a daughter of the late William N. and Dorcas A. (Lyons) Burke. Mrs. Grant was a member of the Cresaptown Assembly of God Church. Surviving are her husband, Charles R. Grant; five daughters, Mrs. Amelia I. Clayton, Cleveland, Ohio; Mrs. Mildred L. Combs, LaVale; Mrs. C. Pauline Flanagan, at home; Mrs. Dorothy M. Shimer, LaVale; Mrs. Verna R. Moon, LaVale; one son, C. Robert Grant, this city; one sister, Mrs. Lydia Fazenbaker, Beryl, W. Va.; 29 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the George Funeral Home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A service will be conducted at the Cresaptown Assembly of God Church, Saturday at 2 p.m. Rev. Hugh L. Porter and Rev. J. E. Barrick will officiate. Interment will be in the Eckhart Cemetery. The body will be taken to the church one hour prior to the service. The Cumberland News, October 3, 1974.
