Cecil Wesley McKenzie, 72, Cresaptown, died yesterday at Memorial Hospital where he had been admitted Monday morning. He was a son of the late Daniel Richard and Mary Jeanette (Hileman) McKenzie. A retired self-employed painter, he was a former Celanese Fibers Company employe. He was a member of Cresaptown United Methodist Church and the Men's Bible Class, and was a veteran of WW I. Surviving are his widow, Olive (Finley) McKenzie; four daughters, Mrs. Clifton J. Shears, Cresaptown; Mrs. William R. Yommer, Baltimore; Mrs. Gerald Nelson, here; and Mrs. James C. Nave, Grafton, Ohio; a brother, Guthrie M. McKenzie, and a sister, Mrs. Grace VanMeter, both of Cresaptown; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild. The body is at the Chapel of the Hills Mortuary, National Highway, where friends will be received today from 7 to 9 p.m. and tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be conducted Friday at 2 p.m. in the Cresaptown United Methodist Church by Rev. Harold McClay, Jr., pastor. Interment will be in Rest Lawn Memorial Gardens. The CUmberland Evening Times, September 18, 1968
