Frostburg, July 3 — Miss Marguerite June Elrick, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Elrick, Ormond Street, and George William Lilly, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Lilly, Mt. Savage, were married at the rectory of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Monday night, by Rev. Joseph Lann, pastor. Miss Betty Payne, this city, and William Meanyhan, Mt. Savage, were the attendants. Mr. Lilly is employed by the Union Mining company at the Mt. Savage brick plant. Mrs. Lilly is a graduate of Beall High School. They will reside at Mt. Savage. The Cumberland Evening Times, July 2, 1941. MOUNT Savage - M. June Lilly, 83, of Upper Bank Street, Mount Savage, died Friday, Dec. 12, 2003, at Sacred Heart Hospital. Born Nov. 23, 1920, in Frostburg, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Elrick and Agnes (Thompson) Ulrick. Mrs. Lilly was also preceded in death by her husband, George W. Lilly Sr., who died in 2001; three brothers, Joseph, James and Harry Elrick; and two sisters, Eunice and Jane. Mrs. Lilly was a homemaker. Surviving are two sons, George Lilly Jr. and wife Mary Ann, Ellerslie, and Dennis R. Lilly, Bel Air; one daughter, Mary Teter and husband David, Mount Savage; one sister, Lillian Kenney, Frostburg; four grandchildren, Cindy Troutman and husband Mark, Carrie Witt and husband Rob, Eric Lilly and wife Christie, and Connie Teter and friend Nick Griffith; eight great-grandchildren, Tahmya and Shaleena Troutman, Brodie and Bryce Witt, Kayla and Eric Lilly II, and Mark Teter and Aidan Griffith. Anyone that knew her will remember her by her favorite pastime of playing bingo and cards. Her family will remember her for her passion of reading and many Sundays of playing scrabble with her family. She was a very generous and kindhearted person. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. At her request, her body was cremated. There will be no visitations. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Patricks Catholic Church, Mount Savage, on Thursday at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Father Doug Kenney as celebrant. Inurnment will be in the parish cemetery.
