March 19, 2005 - Cumberland Times-News - HONOLULU, Hawaii — Edward Eugene Eagan, 64, of Atkinson Drive, Honolulu, died March 10, 2005, in Honolulu. Born at Lonaconing, Md., on March 21, 1940, he was a son of the late Eugene Charles Eagan. He is survived by his mother, Gertrude (Bradley) Eagan of Frostburg, Md. One sister Reta JoAnn Winner and husband George, Rockville, Md.; two brothers, John Michael Eagan, Cameron, W.Va., and Patrick Joseph Eagan and wife Elaine, Keyser, W.Va.; numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Eagan was a retired United Airlines Captain, at LAX, Navy veteran of Vietnam; a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Midland, Md., and the Frostburg Elks. He was a graduate of Beall High School and Frostburg State University. A memorial Mass will be held April 1, 2005, at noon at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Midland, by Father Paul Brecinski, Celebrant. Friends will be received at the church one hour prior to service. Inurnment will be at Rocky Gap Veterans Cemetery, Flintstone, Md. The family suggest memorial contributions be sent to St. Joseph’s Catholic Church Box 1, Midland, MD 21542 or memorials maybe made to the charity of your choice. Military rites will be accorded by combined Veterans Honor Guard.
