WESTERNPORT — Mrs. Catherine Kirk, 59, died yesterday at Potomac Valley Hospital, Keyser, shortly after being admitted. She had been in ill health. Born in Nikep, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence E. and Catherine (Nolan) McKenzie. Surviving are her husband, Lester Kirk; three daughters, Mrs. Robert Fitzgerald, McCoole and Mrs. Edwin Clark and Mrs. Darrell Broadwater, both of Barton; three brothers, Aloysius McKenzie, Luke; Joseph McKenzie, Barton, and Edward McKenzie, Leetsdale, Pa.; six sisters, Mrs. John Timney, Pontiac, Mich.; Mrs. Elwood Kennealy, Keyser; Mrs. Leonard Johnson, Flintstone; Mrs. Dayton Chaney, Barton; Mrs. Olin O'Haver and Mrs. Wilmer Whiteman, both of Nikep; and five grandchildren. The body is in the Boal Funeral Home where friends will be received tomorrow and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be conducted Monday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Moscow Mills. The Cumberland Evening Times, May 10, 1968.
