- Daniel P. (Mac) McKenzie Sr., 68, of 103 Park Avenue, LaVale, died yesterday at Memorial Hospital, where he had been a patient two weeks. Born in this city, Mr. McKenzie was a son of the late Milnor and Frances H. (Maloney) McKenzie. He was a retired Hazelwood Construction Company employee, with 45 years' service, a member of United Commercial Travelers, Cumberland Lodge 63 BPO Elks, St. Patrick's Catholic Church and the Holy Name Society. Surviving are his widow, Maude M. (Hoffman) McKenzie; two sons, Dr. D. P. McKenzie Jr., LaVale; Michael H. McKenzie, city; a brother, G. Francis McKenzie, city; two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Miltenberger and Mrs. Catherine Koontz, both of LaVale; and ten grandchildren. Friends will be received at Silcox-Merritt Funeral Home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated tomorrow at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be George Allen, John Allen, Robert Miltenberger, Kevin McKenzie, William McKenzie and Milnor McKenzie.
