ELSIE I ROSENBERGER-WEIMER FROSTBURG Elsie Irene Rosenberger-Weimer, 85, of the Goodwill Mennonite Home, formerly of 17 Mt. Pleasant St., Frostburg, died Monday, Dec. 11, 2000, at Sacred Heart Hospital. Born Aug. 5, 1915, in Accident, she was the daughter of the late John and Isabelle (Knox) Broadwater. She also was preceded in death by two husbands, Thomas Rosenberger and Vincent Weimer. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Mrs. Weimer was retired from the Meyersdale Manufacturing Company. She attended St. John's Episcopal Church and was a member of the ladies auxiliary #1273 Fraternal Order of Eagles, Frostburg. Surviving are three sons, Harold Rosenberger and wife Nancy, Lonaconing, Paul Rosenberger and wife Ruth, Meyersdale, Pa., and Bernard Rosenberger and wife Brenda, Finzel; one daughter, Darlene Bittinger and husband Elwood, Salisbury, Pa.; four stepchildren; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Durst Funeral Home, P.A., 57 Frost Ave., Frostburg, on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The Fraternal Order of Eagles Ladies Auxiliary will conduct a memorial service at 7:30 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home on Wednesday at 11 a.m. with Pastor David Fetters officiating. Interment will be in the Finzel Cemetery. A luncheon will be served at the Eagles Lodge #1273 following the graveside services.
