- FROSTBURG — Mrs. Martha (Orner) Dishong, 82, widow of John C. Dishong, died early today at her home, 159 Frost Avenue. Surviving are six sons, Alfred L., Harry E. and Herman R. Dishong, all of Frostburg; Charles J. Dishong, Consol: William F., Brendville, Pa., and Samuel F. Dishong, Hyndman, Pa.; five daughters, Mrs. William Wampler, Garrett County; Mrs. Robert Walker, Meyersdale, Pa.; Mrs. Harrison Shoemaker, Boynton, Pa.; Mrs. Silas Shumaker, Stoystown, Pa., and Mrs. John Kalbaugh (sic), Thurmont; a sister, Mrs. Harvey Rager, Johnstown; 37 grandchildren and 41 great-grandchildren. The body is at the Hafer Funeral Home. Cumberland Evening Times, January 30, 1953.
