Born June 15, 1942, in Avilton, Md. a son of the late Orville and Marie (Brown) McKenzie. Survived by his widow, Emily (Hoover) McKenzie and these children: Michael Minick and Mark McKenzie, both of Jennerstown, Scott McKenzie, Amy Broucher and Lori Salvotore, all of Somerset, Lisa Borosky, Shanksville, Christine Houck, Sidman and Debbie Custer, Berlin. Also survived by 17 grandchildren and these sisters: Naomi Knopsnyder, Salisbury and Vicki Harvey, Westernport, Md. and brother, Bradley McKenzie, Salisbury. He was a retired concrete finisher and was a member of the Jenners Grace Brethren Church. A memorial service will be held 3 p.m. Tuesday at the M. Ray Leckemby Funeral Home, Meyersdale. The Rev. Shawn Oslander officiating. Interment in Fritz Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to In Touch Hospice at Somerset Hospital. Burial: Fritz Lutheran Cemetery Somerset County Pennsylvania, USA
