She died on 16 Oct 1976 in Huntington, Pennsylvania. Salisbury, Pa. - Mrs. Margaret M. Engle, 71, formerly of Salisbury, died yesterday at Blair Memorial Hospital, Huntington, Pa. Born in Boynton, Pa., January 24, 1905, she was a daughter of the late Milton and Cecelia (Garlitz) Bowman. Mrs. Engle is survived by a son, Richard Engle, Claysville, Pa.; a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy M. Jones, Mt. Union, Pa.; four sisters, Mrs. Iva Vought, Boynton; Mrs. Jennie Shaulis, Okeechobee, Fla.; Mrs. June Shoemaker, Salisbury; Mrs. Dora D'Este, Meyersdale; four brothers, Edward Bowman, Colonel Bowman, and Grant Bowman, all of Salisbury; Ralph Bowman, of Boynton. Mrs. Engle was a member of the Salisbury Church of the Brethren. Friends will be received at the Thomas Funeral Home after 2 p.m. today. Services will be conducted in the funeral home tomorrow at 1 p.m. , Rev. Daniel Whitacre will officiate and interment will be in Salisbury Cemetery. The Cumberland Sunday Times, October 17, 1976
