- James Anthony HAY/WEIMER was born on 2 Jun 1903. "James Anthony was born out of wedlock. He was the son of Aunt Annie. Later she married Thomas McKenzie. He, James Anthony, lived with Uncle John and Lawrence. After my grandparents and Uncle John and Lawrence died, he lived alone until a few years ago when Beulah E. Warnick Gabler's husband died; she came back to look up James Anthony. She was his girl friend many years ago. My uncles told him if he married he would lose his inheritance. Hence he never married while they lived. We were up for the wedding only a few years ago. Shortly after marriage, they built a beautiful new home on Grandfather's farm. At Uncle James Henry's funeral, my mother and sister-in-law, James and Pauline, Sister Angelita and I went out to see them." Letter from Sister M. Teresa Fides to Sister Regina Clare dated Sept. 29, 1979, and passed to Betty Smith, from an email dated July 3, 2010.
