- Leo Milton WEIMER (Samuel Vincent-4, Ozias-3, Drucilla Ann MCKENZIE-2, John M.-1) was born on 12 Nov 1905 in Finzel, Garrett Co., Maryland. He died on 10 Jun 1952 in Cresaptown, Allegany Co., Maryland. Leo Milton Weimer, 46, of 427 Columbia Street, died suddenly after finishing work yesterday at the plant of the Celanese Corporation of America, where he was employed as a boilermaker. Dr. H. V. Deming, county medical examiner, said Mr. Weimer died of a heart condition. He was walking on a sidewalk inside the plant when he dropped and was pronounced dead on arrival at the plant's first aid station. A native of Finzel, he was a son of Mrs. Delia Sowers, Flintstone, and the late Samuel Weimer. He was a member of Local 1874, Textile Workers Union. Besides his mother, he is survived by his widow, Mrs. Bessie (Whitacre) Weimer; his step-father, Alva Sowers, a step-daughter, Mrs. Virginia Weimer, at home; a granddaughter, Miss Marjorie Lee Weimer; two brothers, James V. Weimer, Flintstone; and Marshall G. Weimer, Cumberland; and seven sisters, Mrs. Howard Platter, Springfield; Mrs. George Blocher and Mrs. Clifton Pfaff, both of Frostburg; Mrs. George Evans, Midlothian; Mrs. James Wallizer, Flintstone, and Mrs. Ernest Sowers and Mrs. Earl Evans, both of Waynesboro, Pa. The body is at the residence where services will be conducted Friday at 2 p. m. Rev. Dr. Hixon T. Bowersox, pastor of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, will officiate and interment will be in the Mt.
