Born in Garrett County, he was the son of the late John and Grace (LaRue) Rosenberger. He was a retired clay miner. Surviving are his widow, Elsie (Broadwater) Rosenberger; three sons, Harold Rosenberger, Woodland; Paul Rosenberger, Pocahontas, Pa.; and Bernard Rosenberger, at home; one daughter, Mrs. Darlene Bittinger, Salisbury, Pa.; five sisters, Mrs. Dessie Drees, and Mrs. Clara McKenzie, both of Finzel; Miss Alberta Rosenberger, and Mrs. Evelyn Baker, both of Frostburg; and Mrs. Edna Kimble, Meyersdale; three brothers Emory Rosenberger, Arthur Rosenberger and Gurney Rosenberger, all of Finzel, and four grandchildren. Friends will be received in the Durst Funeral Home. The Cumberland News, March 28, 1975 He was buried on 29 Mar 1975 in Finzel Cemetery, Finzel, Garrett Co., Maryland.
