- Bartlett Jennings Cottrill, 46, of Danville, McMullen Highway, died yesterday at the home of Norval McKenzie, Long Stretch, in Garrett County. He was a son of Hans Cottrill and the late Rose (Green) Cottrill. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ruby (McKenzie) Cottrill and two children, Mrs. Louise Dean and Bartlett J. Cottrill Jr., both of Danville. There are also two sisters, Miss Thelma Cottrill, Richwood, W.Va., and Mrs. Genevieve Baldwin, Great Neck, Long Island, New York. The body will remain at the Durst Funeral Home, where services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. Interment will be in Philos Cemetery. Cumberland News, Thursday, June 24, 1954
