- Pauline Agnes BOLDEN (William Arthur-4, Henrietta Agnes MCKENZIE-3, Francis-2, John M.-1) was born on 13 Aug 1926 in Finzel, Garrett Co., Maryland. She died on 11 Jan 2011. FROSTBURG — Pauline Agnes (Bolden) Arnone, 84, of Frostburg died Jan. 11, 2011. Born Aug. 13, 1926 in Finzel, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Mary (Drees) Bolden. She was also preceded in death by one daughter Christine; one grandson, Michael McKenzie; one sister, Eleanor Werner; and brothers, Oliver and Robert Bolden. Mrs. Arnone was a homemaker and a devout member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church. She was a former employee of Frostburg Tastee Freeze. She was the mother of eight and thoroughly enjoyed gardening and candy making. Pauline was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, James; four sons, William and wife Sharon, Cresaptown, James and wife Carol, Ridgley, W.Va., Robert and wife Mary, Brownsboro, Ala., Regis and girlfriend Marcela, Vienna, Va.; three daughters, Rosemary McKenzie and husband Bill, Manchester, Philomena Zapf and husband Bill, Cumberland and Kathleen Arnone, Owens Crossroads, Ala.; two sisters, Wilda Dunn and Sylvia Baer. Also surviving are the grandchildren and their families, Katrina and Sean Opel, Dylan and Chase, Lynn Hovatter, Seth and Rylee, James and Barbara Arnone and Katelyn, Tricia Arnone, Rebecca and Andy Clark, Sydney and Ryan, Kevin McKenzie, Marc Arnone, Leah and Ryan Burch, Gianna and Jackson, Steve and Michelle Logsdon, Katelyn and Joelle, Matt and Shala Logsdon, Stefanie and Kenny Liller and Madison, and Justin Horn. The family is grateful to the staff of Western Maryland Health System, Ruby Memorial Hospital, Frostburg Village Nursing home and WMHS Hospice Services for their compassionate care and support. Friends will be received at the Durst Funeral Home PA 57 Frost Ave., Frostburg, on Thursday, Jan. 13, 2011 from 5 to 7 p.m. and also Friday, Jan. 14, 2011 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Michael’s Catholic Church on Saturday, Jan. 15, 2011 at 10 a.m. with Msgr. Paul Byrnes at celebrant. Interment will be at St. Michael’s Cemetery following the services. Grandsons will be serving as pallbearers.
