- Charles Kenneth HOSTETLER (M. Ruth MCKENZIE-4, Joshua-3, Francis-2, John M.-1) was born about 1916 in Meyersdale, Summit Township, Somerset Co., Pennsylvania. He died on 6 Nov 1972 in Albuquerque, Bernalillo Co., New Mexico. Charles Kenneth Hostetler, 56, of Albuquerque, N. Mex., formerly of Meyersdale, died Monday, Nov. 6, 1972, in an Albuquerque hospital, following a brief illness. Surviving are his wife, the former Margaret Stahl; two daughters, Mrs. Janet Marie Cooney and Miss Cynthia K. Hostetler, both of Albuquerque; his father, Irvin Hostetler, of Nevada, Iowa; four grandchildren; a brother, Robert Hostetler, of Green Bay, Wis.; and a sister, Mrs. Robert Kantner of Somerset. He was a member of the Christ United Methodist Church, New Mexico Callers Association and was employed at Sandea Corporation. Memorial service was held Thursday afternoon in the Palm Chapel of Strong-thorne Mortuary with Dr. Cyril Stone officiating. Interment in Sandea Memory Gardens.
