GRANTSVILLE - Dallas A. Durst, 58, died yesterday at Miners Hospital after a lingering illness. Born in New Germany, he was a son of Mrs. Elizabeth (Miller) Durst and the late Henry F. Durst. Besides his mother, he is survived by his wife, Beulah (Hare) Durst; two sons, Melvin and Dwayne Durst, at home; a daughter, Mrs. Joanne Umbel, Takoma Park; two brothers, Sylvan Durst, Anaheim, Calif., and Wayne Durst, here. He was a member of Grantsville Methodist Church and a past president of the Methodist Men of the church. Th« body is at the Newman Funeral Home where friends will be received from 2 until 4 and 7 until 9 p.m. A service will be conducted there tomorrow at 2 p.m. Rev. Emory McGraw and Rev. Frank Johnson will officiate and interment will be in New Germany Methodist Cemetery. The Cumberland News, July 12, 1965
